I'm All That 2-Day Multi-Sport Competition (7:30 am)
Think that you're up for a real challenge? Race in all four events for a chance to be "I'm All That!" By registering in IAT, you'll automatically be entered in each event over both days. Athletes who compete in all four races on September 4th and 5th will be eligible for cash prizes and the title “I'm All That!” Competitors must complete all races and will be scored by the cumulative times for all events.

Creekside Books & Coffee Presents Author Rhonda LaRue and “Coming Home to YourSelf” on Sunday, Sept 12 at 3:00 PM Author Rhonda LaRue will lead a special “Coming Home to YourSelf” dialogue at Creekside Books & Coffee on Sunday, September 12th at 3:00 pm. LaRue, an internationally-regarded author and teacher, returns to her hometown for the month of September to visit Creekside Books and lead a spiritual retreat at Stella Maris. As the founder of the Center for SoulArts in Ojai, California, LaRue has returned to Skaneateles to share the art of finding and following one’s own inner wisdom and way. For six generations, LaRue’s family has lived and summered in Skaneateles. LaRue says that Skaneateles is sacred ground for her. It is the place that she comes back to for renewal when she needs to reconnect with what really matters. Coming home to Skaneateles Lake each year brings back memories that hold her in good stead especially now that she is an adult. Carol’s family members include her mother, Carol Ackles, an art teacher at Skaneateles for many years, her grandmother Gurtrude Osborne, the music director at Skaneateles Presbyterian and her uncle, Bunt Osborne, the organist at the Presbyterian Church and Citizen of the Year in 2009. Brother Brian Ackles is a music teacher at Marcellus High School and Cousin Bruce Osborne is the organist at the Episcopal church. Her family home is “Ackles Apples” on Rose Hill. Her parents, Ron and Carol are dedicated to restoring the family home with the goal of offering art shows and gallery work.
