Open Mic Night (5:30 pm)
Thursday is Open Mic night at the Creekside! The evening is run by local musician Joanne Perry and it provides the opportunity to local performers to entertain. Free admission. The Creekside now has a beer and wine menu as well as a selection of appetizers to order from.

Native Plant Sale At The Woods - MEMBERS ONLY (4:00 pm - 7:00 pm)
Native plants, other perennials, herbs, and hanging baskets-—the variety and quality you want for your garden can be found right here at Baltimore Woods. Choose your quality plants and receive expert gardening advice. The volunteers who tend our gardens will be on hand to discuss topics such as preferred soil types and sun and shade requirements, advising you, and assuring your new plants maximum chance for success in your garden.  The many natives being offered this year include both red and white trillium! A list of the native plants specially grown for The Woods will be posted at www.baltimorewoods.org. There is no admission fee and parking is free. The event takes place rain or shine! See you there!

Enjoy the wonders of fresh food from the garden without the need for a lot of space or weeding. Practically anything grown in a traditional garden can be raised in containers, with less work. Join Educator Katie as she shares her knowledge of container gardening. You’ll mix soil and take home your very own “Salad Bowl” garden! Bring 1 medium, 6” deep pot, gardening gloves, and trowel. $20 for members; $30 for nonmembers.
