Fair Trade Oriental Rug Event (2:00 pm)
One World Market, formerly Ten Thousand Villages, will host its tenth annual fair trade oriental rug event. Over 300 heirloom-quality, handknotted Oriental rugs, including Persians, Tribals, and Bokharas, will be available for sale. These rugs are handcrafted by fairly paid adult artisans in Pakistan. A variety of sizes, from runners to 12 x 14s will be available. The event will be held at Saint Catherine of Siena Church, 302 Saint Catherine Circle, Ithaca, NY 14850(off Hanshaw Road).
