Weekend Wildflower Walks (2:00 pm - 3:00 pm)
Baltimore Woods Nature Center’s premier woodland wildflower garden is a local treasure. Join caretaker Audrey Loewer for a pleasant walk through one of the wonders of spring. Each week new species will bloom, and Audrey will reveal their past and present medicinal and culinary uses. The garden is handicap accessible; please call the office at (315) 673-1350 if you need assistance. Donations appreciated.

Beautiful Dance Studio upstairs, just inside Ja Spa, Marcellus,NY Nia is easy to follow well cued dance for beginner, intermediate and advanced level dancers, you choose. Nia Technique dance is choreographed to great music for maximum joy and fun! Nia is well cued so you can move fluidly. Nia received the world fitness award for top mind, body and spirit fitness. Nia is a dance you must experience. Men, women and children able to follow movements are welcome. All ages and abilities.

Student Art Exhibit (10:00 am - 3:00 pm)
The Baltimore Woods Nature Center Student Art Exhibit celebrates both nature and the artistic achievements of students in the elementary grades though high school. The gallery will be filled with a colorful and varied array of nature related artwork in a variety of media including painting, printmaking, collage, photography, ceramics and drawing. Star Party: Rare Transit Of Mercury Across The Sun (8:00 am - 10:00 am)
Telescopes with approved solar filters will be able to observe the dark disk of the planet Mercury moving across the face of the Sun. This extremely rare event occurs only once every few years. The next transit of Mercury occurs in 2019 and not again until 2039. Recommended for all ages. $6 for members, $9 for nonmembers.
