Blue Star Museums: Seward House (All Day)
The Seward House Museum will be participating in Blue Star Museums, a collaboration among the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and more than 2000 museums across America to offer free admission to the nation's active duty military personnel including National Guard and Reserve and their families from Memorial Day through Labor Day 2016. Leadership support for Blue Star Families programming and promotional materials has been provided by the MetLife Foundation. The program also provides families and opportunity to enjoy the nation's cultural heritage and learn more about their new communities after a military move.

Specialty Tour: The Sewards In New York State (11:00 am - 12:00 noon)
For generations, the Sewards were among the most prominent of New York families. On this specialty tour, learn about how various members of the Seward family contributed to the history of the Empire State. This tour will be in place of the regular 11am public tour.

The Calamari Sisters' Clam Bake (2:00 pm - 3:30 pm)
The Juiciest Clams in Town! The Calamari Sisters return to Auburn after making quite a splash last year with their wild Christmas antics and their zany musical wedding. This summer get ready for an even crazier, zanier, and fishier time. That’s right – Delphine & Carmela will be teaching you the ins and outs of an Italian clam bake. You’ll laugh until your sides hurt as these two plus size siblings sing, dance, and cook their way through the perfect summer picnic. By the end of this year’s cooking lesson, you’ll agree that The Calamari Sisters have the juiciest clams in town!

History's Hometown Architecture Tour: East Side Edition (1:00 pm - 3:00 pm)
Back by popular demand! Join museum staff from both the Seward House and the Cayuga Museum for a guided walking tour through Auburn. The focus of this tour centers around the east side of Auburn, with special emphasis placed upon the iconic South Street district and its fascinating residential history. Nearby Fort Hill Cemetery will also be explored and its unique history revealed. This tour is rain or shine, so participants are encouraged to dress comfortably and prepare appropriately in anticipation of two hours of walking through city neighborhoods. Reservations required

Alzheimer's Support Group (2:00 pm)
The Alzheimer's Association has updated the caregiver support group meeting location in our area. This group is open to all caregivers of individuals with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia.
