Skaneateles Sail School Registration (All Day)
For the 54th year, the Skaneateles Country Club will conduct its annual Sail School on the club waterfront. The Skaneateles Sail School is, as always, OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. The Sail School program runs for six weeks, five days per week, from June 29 through August 12, 2015 and features a US Sailing based curriculum taught by US Sailing certified instructors. Skaneateles Country Club’s Sail School provides a fun, safe environment to learn boat handling skills, water safety, and a sense of confidence on the water. 3-week sessions for beginners, individual lessons, and Saturday clinics are also available.

Memorial Day Parade - Skaneateles (9:00 am - 11:00 am)
In honor of those who have sacrificed themselves for our freedom. Ceremonies are held at St.Mary's of the Lake Cemetery, Lakeview Cemetery and Veteran's Memorial in Clift Park.

Paper Shredding Event (9:00 am - 12:00 noon)
The Skaneateles Early Childhood Center will be hosting our first Shredding Event on Saturday, May 30th from 9:00am - 12:00pm. So gather up all of those old documents you need to get rid of and bring them to the Center (1574 E. Genesee St., Skaneateles) to be shredded on site!  A $5.00 donation for each banker box/container is kindly requested. Paper only please to be shredded.

Plantasia: Plant Sale And Garden Festival (9:00 am - 3:00 pm)
Celebrate spring at The Woods at Plantasia 2015! The plant sale will offer a great selection of native plants, shrubs, perennials, annuals and herbs. Master gardeners from Cornell Cooperative Extension, Onondaga County will be on hand to provide gardening advice. The garden festival includes garden-inspired, handcrafted gifts will be available for sale. Vendors from our Winter Farmers Market will be on hand with their delicious, local products. There will also be a food booth and bake sale to tempt you! On Saturday,free workshops and classes will be held. On Sunday from 10am-2pm, the plant sale continues. Baltimore Woods members get their “pick of the pots”at the members-only night on Friday, May 29 from 4 until 7! Free parking and free admission. Rain or shine. Re-Bike Event Hosted By Sustainable Skaneateles (9:00 am - 1:00 pm)
Back by popular demand, Sustainable Skaneateles’  “Re-Bike” event will return to the Allyn Arena on Saturday May 30, 2015, from 9am to 1 pm. This family-oriented event will again feature bicycle repair workshops, person-to-person bicycle sales or swaps, and a Bike Rodeo for kids in grades 1 through 5. 


Container Gardening Workshop (10:00 am - 11:00 am)
Enjoy the wonders of fresh food from the garden without the need for a lot of space or weeding. Practically anything grown in a traditional garden can be raised in containers, with less work. You’ll mix soil and take home your very own “Salad Bowl” garden! Bring 15” pot, gardening gloves, and trowel. For ages 7 and up. $20 for members; $30 for nonmembers.
