Wildflower Walk at Baltimore Woods

Spring wildflowers are here! Each week brings a new wave of blooming species and the seasonal spectacle is not to be missed. Join Faust Garden caretaker Rose Burdick for a pleasant and informative walk through the Faust Wildflower Garden to see these beautiful flowers in all their glory before they fade away for another year.
More details: These programs are designed for adults and will follow a wheelchair accessible path of stone dust over flat terrain. Meet at the main parking lot trailhead kiosk. Wildflower walks are free for all, but donations in support of Baltimore Woods Nature Center are appreciated.

Symphoria Presents: Bach, Copland, and Shostakovich

Symphoria welcomes back Monica Fosnaugh, English horn player from the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, to join principal trumpet John Raschella in a performance of Copland’s Quiet City. The work is bookended by Shostakovich’s Chamber Symphony at the start and Bach’s Orchestral Suite No. 4 in D Major to complete the afternoon.
