It's getting warmer and that means it is almost time for Lakeside Worship at St. James'! Each year, St. James' is blessed to hold the Contemporary Worship with Praise Band in the park adjacent/outside gazing at the spectacular view of Skaneateles Lake. Lakeside Service is each Sunday through the Summer at 10:45 a.m. WEATHER PERMITTING. Praying for a dry and warm summer! Bring a blanket, chair, pet or just yourself! All are welcome!

Summer Art Camp: Musical Clay

In this weeklong clay camp, campers will explore the different ways clay can be used to make sound and instruments. Students will be encouraged to get messy and make some noise as we learn how musical art and physical art combine. Students will be required to return to the Art Center after camp ends to pick up their kiln-fired work.

Dates: July 29 to Aug. 2, 2024
Time: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Cost: $200 for Schweinfurth members, $210 for nonmembers
Summer Art Camp: Weaving Wildness

Come explore the fun of weaving! In this weeklong experience, students will learn different beginner weaving techniques to make bowls, wall hanging sculptures, and more. Join in as we play with color and pattern in string and yarn.

7:00 PM BACKSTAGE PASS: Violinist Joe Genualdi and cellist Steven Doane join Festival Artistic Directors Aaron Wunsch and Julia Bruskin for a a conversation looking back over 45 years of the Skaneateles Festival.
A festive musical celebration of 45 years features beloved performers from the past, including violinist Joe Genualdi, cellists Steven Doane and Rosemary Elliott, pianist Andrew Russo, and harpist Bridget Kibbey, as well as current Artistic Directors Aaron Wunsch and Julia Bruskin in a diverse and diverting program that includes Beethoven’s sunny Cello Sonata No. 3; Debussy’s evocative Dances for harp and string quartet; Russian composer Anton Arensky’s passionate String Quartet No. 2 with two cellos and a diverse program that includes a new piece in memory of beloved Festival supporter, David Stam.
